UNILEVER TAKE OVER HORLICKS FOR RS.31,700cr

Glaxosmithkline (GSK)  is a Indian consumer milk products, which producing Horlicks malted milk product. There is a compitition between Nestle, Unilever and Cococola and finally Unilever won the race. Horlicks is one of the top  most company for health product in India, it occupies 43 percent of Indian market and it placed first and Bournvita occupies 13 percent and it occupies 2 place.

India's malt based hot drinks segment is estimated to be worth Rs. 7,870Cr. In addition to Horlicks, Unilever will gain boost brand, another leader in the segment. The deal includes $724 million for an 82 percent stake in Glaxo's Bangladesh unit and other related consmer health brands outside India.

Malt based drinks have been popular in India, according to the investor the market will grow more then it past as the consumer interest to buying the milk products.

In 2018, GSK brands turn over through Rs. 4200Cr only gain through health product
